RSHM Life Center reaches out to those in need and creates an environment where all can grow and flourish. The After School Program assists children in kindergarten through 6th grade with homework, while also providing supervised recreational activities. Over 90% of the children speak English as their second language and improve their English at the Center. The Summer Camp program offers local children a chance to learn and have fun during the summer months, including traditional camp activities and improved computer and reading skills.

Program areas at RSHM Life Center

The After School Program provides homework assistance and supervised recreational activities for children in kindergarten through 6th grade. Over 90% of the children speak English as their second language. At the Center, the children improve their English skills. Emphasis is placed on good study habits, the development of social skills, a love of learning and fair play. Children who have been involved in the program for more than 2 years have a 100% graduation rate.
Immigration legal services provides affordable , direct legal services to individuals who are seeking to regularize their legal status and to those seeking representation in removal proceedings.
The Summer Camp program provides local children with an experience of both learning and fun during the hot days of summer. In addition to traditional camp activities, children are given the opportunity to improve their computer and reading skills.
The Moms & Tots is a pre-school program for toddlers and support for their parents. The children are immersed in the English language. This enables the children to prepare for school. The Moms study English and participate in a support group.
the Friday Night Fever is a socialization group for young teens. This helps them to learn good decision making, communication skills, to serve the community & grow in their ability to act responsibly.
Smarty Saturdays- once a month outings for children in grades 3-5 who are part of the After School program.
