Founded 34 years ago to advance Rube Goldberg's legacy, the Institute: inspires diverse audiences to digitally discover the inventive genius of Rube Goldberg, including through an online experience showcasing the thousands of cartoons he created in his lifetime and a trove of archival material; empowers young people to develop the skills, confidence, and curiousity they need to imagine the impossible and make it real, from scientific developments to artistic works; supports educators as they guide students in the classroom; elevates steam education by offering skills-building resources and programs, including competitions, that give students unique opportunities to experiment and innovate; and supports the future artists and inventors whose work will transform the ways we see our world -just as Rube's did.
