Program areas at Ruby Central
Continuing our commitment to supporting the Ruby community of software developers, Ruby Central hosted two conferences, RailsConf23 and RubyConf23, bringing together 1,450 attendees from around the globe. We created an environment where developers could collaborate, learn, connect, and celebrate their work with the Ruby language.
In 2023, Ruby Central's Open Source program provided over 5000 hours of ongoing development work and 24/7 monitoring for the free RubyGems.org service. We released 50 new versions of the Bundler and RubyGems programming tools and served 32 billion individual packages of open source software.
