Ruiz for Kids

Ruiz 4 Kids provides scholarships to benefit youth in communities surrounding dinuba & tulare, California; denison, Texas, and florence, south carolina who have demonstrated scholastic achievements and wish to pursue a college education through a community college, four-year college/university or attend a trade school. In 2023ruiz 4 Kids awarded (1) 487 $1,000 scholarships to high school students entering community college, four-year college/university, or trade school, and (2) 11 $2,500 scholarships to students transferring from a community college to a four-year college/university.

Ruiz 4 Kids provides mini-grants up to $1,000 for k-12 teachers who outline programs to enhance the learning experience for students in the communities within 35 miles of dinuba, California; denison, Texas, and florence, south carolina. In 2023 Ruiz 4 Kids funded 99 mini-grants to support teachers with essential materials to carry out curriculum work and meet the basic needs of all the students in the classroom, materials to improve student achievement and enhance instructional skills, with an emphasis on creativity and innovation and a clear plan for implementation.
