Program areas at Runway to Hope
Runway To Hope family assistance program - funds are used To offer direct financial support To central Florida children and their families battling pediatric cancer by paying for necessities such as mortgage/rent, car payment/repairs, utilities, food, gas, and at times, end of life expenses. Direct financial assistance aids in alleviating the stress on the child's parent(s) during the course of treatment so they can focus on the most important thing, their child's life.
Runway to Hope supports research and multidisciplinary treatment options at our three local Central Florida children's hospitals: AdventHealth for Children, Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital, and Nemours Children's Health. With a focus on not duplicating services that already exist in our community, Runway to Hope's hospital funding is earmarked for specific pediatric oncology programs at each hospital in order to create lifesaving treatment options so families do not have to travel away from their home in order to save their child's life.
