Rutherford House provides an alternative to traditional youth correctional institutions for juveniles who come to the attention of local courts. Delinquent adolescents can receive short and long term care in one of our four homes, which can accommodate approximately fifty individuals. Program areas at Rutherford House

Rutherford House has four homes that are operated for delinquent adolescents. Short term and long term care of approximately fifty adjudicated juveniles is provided in these homes. These individuals are usually placed in the home by juvenile court. Schooling programs for the adolescents is provided in conjunction with the caddo parish school district.
