Educational & workforce development: the Builders Exchange offers numerous construction classes, seminars and safety trainings to help our membership grow their business acumen, comply with continually-changing regulatory environment and protect the health and welfare of their employees on the construction jobsite. These classes cover a variety of topics such as mechanic liens, prevailing wage compliance, green building, leed accreditation, swppp, construction contracts and bonding, osha and other safety training classes. Our facility has several training rooms where we utilize our partnerships with California's top safety experts to educate member companies. Through our 501(c)(3) construction industry educational foundation, the Exchange promotes construction industry careers to high school students and provides tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships annually to those pursuing professional and trades career paths in construction.
Industry networking: the Exchange and cief, its related entity, offer more than two dozen networking events annualy, allowing members to network and develop the business relationships upon which they rely. Our menu of events includes activities such as: golf tournaments, crab feed, the annual board installation dinner, summer bbq event, and the holiday mixer, where srbx and our workforce foundation join to provide toys and monetary donations for local children's charities. Each year over 3,000 attendees participate in these networking events.
