Healthy Families Program - Safe Harbor Coronado works to improve the emotional and behavioral competencies of youth and families, such as; effective communication, impulse control, healthy relationships, self-esteem, managing emotions, and coping skills. The Healthy Families Program offers preventive programming through evidence-based, interactive lessons, dialogue, self-reflection, and gameplay.

Family Support Services - Accessible counseling is offered on a sliding-scale basis to those who live, work, or attend school in Coronado. These services are available regardless of the ability to pay. Our clinicians have a background in Marriage and Family Therapy and Social Work, and offer short-term, confidential counseling. We follow an 8-session module that provides solution-focused and strength-based strategies to youth and families struggling with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation (add whatever else?). Counseling sessions focus on fostering personal growth, self-awareness, and coping skills by utilizing several evidence-based modalities such as Narrative Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, CBT, and Art & Play Therapy techniques.
