Organization provides a wearable pediatric belt cane for toddlers and preschoolers who are blind and mobility visually impaired as a solution for walking safely. Specifically, the organization provides a pediatric belt cane for clear path detection.

Training Research The organization conducts educational outreach to agencies and schools serving children with mobility visual impairment or blindness. We provide on-site training and support to agency and school staff. The training assists staff to evaluate their students for wearable mobility tool needs and train them in how to include the Belt Cane in their students daily routines.The organization collects the largest video database on early walking ability of children born blind or mobility visually impaired. We use our research initiative to learn about the outcomes of providing Pediatric Belt Canes to children with mobility visual impairment or blindness. Then we publish in peer reviewed journals and online.
