Program areas at SafeHouse / Seminole County Victims' Rights Coalition Inc

In fy 2022-2023,341 adults and children stayed in safe, short-term emergency housing at Safehouse for 9,845 bed-nights, our 24/7/365 crisis hotline advocates took more than 3,848 crisis calls from victims, and we helped create 31,370 safety plans. This program employs state-certified staff and offers onsite counseling, case management, empowerment training and classes, after school programs, resources for child care,and crisis intervention. The Safehouse outreach program served 2,650 adult and children survivors at several locations throughout Seminole County in fy 2022-2023. Outreach advocates and attorneys work with survivors who are not in imminent danger, not in need of emergency shelter, and/or who have transitioned out of the emergency shelter. Supportive counseling and advocacy hours for the year total more than 8,000 hours for adults and children. More than 2,000 adults attended professional training in Seminole County.
