Program areas at Saint Joseph Youth Alliance
Educare This program provides free resources, technical assistance and training opportunities to childcare providers who accept state subsidy. Educare works to improve the early learning experiences for low-income children from birth to six years of age.
Youth Build This program is a community based pre apprenticeship activity that provides job training and educational opportunities for at risk youth ages 16-24 who have previously dropped out of high school. In addition to obtaining their Hi-Set, the Organization offers participants two career paths participants can earn credentials in either the Home Builders Institute or Certified Nursing Assistant program.
Power Program This program is designed to improve the economic status of low income, non-custodial parents in Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, Caldwell, Clinton, Daviess, DeKalb, Gentry, Harrison, Holt, Nodaway, and Worth counties in Missouri. Through this program non-custodial parents are assisted with guidance and support that may lead the individual to make a better life choice, including continued employment, that improves their parenting and economic success.
