At the Salem Chamber, we believe that the whole community thrives when the business community is healthy. To serve as your business and community advocate and work to keep Salem a great place where business can prosper and families can live, work, play, and shop. Our goal is for Salem to be known as the most business friendly place in Oregon. Customer service within municipalities and our commitment to preparing youth for the workforce will be second to none. Salem will be known as the hub for recreational activity within the Willamette Valley, attracting families and entrepreneurs.

Program areas at Salem Area Chamber of Commerce

The organization serves as an advocate for businesses and their employees, in the Salem, or region. We actively support economic and workforce development initiatives designed to sustain and improve economic conditions within the region, allowing for strategic growth in job opportunities for Salem Area residents. The Chamber serves over 1,100 member businesses who employ approximately 45,000 people throughout the region by providing small business advocacy, networking and connection, leadership development training, business forums, and various monthly and yearly key events which provides networking and connection within the Salem business community.
