All programs are designed to benefit the quality of life for residents, quality of business environment, and/or quality of visitor experience in the downtown Salem district. Salem Main Streets is overseen by a Steering Committee of community stakeholders, and is supported by seperate volunteer committees overseeing Design, Econommic Development, Organization and Promotion, and Fundraising, as well as event-specific committees for the Salem Farmers' Market and Salem Arts Festival.
