Program areas at Seasons Counseling of Michiana
Professional Counseling: during the fiscal year 2022-2023, we provided approximately 6,200 hours of Counseling services to people suffering from depression, anxiety, Family issues, ptsd, and other problems such as dealing with the lingering challenges related to covid-19. More than 600 new clients sought individual, couple, and Family therapy from the agency's clinical staff. We provide faith-friendly Counseling services, allowing each client, at their request, to incorporate their belief system into the therapeutic process. We served clients with a variety of religious affiliations that include baptist, roman catholic, church of christ, episcopal, lutheran, mennonite, methodist, presbyterian, judaism, among others. Knowing that access to mental healthcare can be a challenge for many people, we also subsidized care for several clients by use of our client assistance fund. Funded entirely by donations, the client assistance fund is used to pay a portion of the service fee, while the client is responsible for the remainder. Mental Health education: we engaged in outreach efforts and provided educational programs to our community throughout the year. We believe this not only raises awareness about mental Health, but also provides community members with important tools to help them lead happier, healthier, and more productive lives. To do this we collaborate with schools, regional non- profits, churches, and healthcare providers to create tailored programs to meet the needs of their students, clients, parishioners, and patients. We are pleased to be part of the healing process for so many individuals, couples, and families. Providing professional therapy, increasing access to care, and raising awareness about mental Health have positive and long- lasting effects on our community.
