SNC's Student Tutorial Endeavor Program STEP a long time effective after-school and summer program with: Academic tutoring computer training & research with current systems applications and high speed internet; educational incentives; leadership development; field trips. All 100% benefit with 70% improving in their academic school grades.
SNC's STEP program has mandatory EXERCISE REGIMEN and RECREATION components that offer education incentives for being healthy our open gym and various tournaments engage hundreds of youth in the West Oakland neighborhood after school and in the evenings. Health and Education are key components for all.
SNC's STEP program includes positive role models and mentoring component with staff and volunteers to our students ages 7 - 17 individual and small group meetings non-violence etiquette nutrition and health theme workshops. Meals and transportation provided. THERE ARE NO FEES FOR OUR PROGRAMS.
