Program areas at Samaritan Village
Our holistic, trauma-informed long-term transitional safehouse program provides victims of human trafficking with a safe and comfortable environment to heal. Participants in our program receive a multi-stage recovery process that provides survivors with an additional 3-3.5 years of survivor support and programming designed to provide the building blocks for a healthy, independent life outside of exploitation. Every element in our program is evaluated to meet the holistic care model approach, addressing their mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Our program includes individual counseling from a licensed mental health counselor, group therapies, addiction support, medical attention, case management, continued education, vocational training programs, and spiritual development. During 2023, the program served 14 women transitioning from human trafficking to a healthy, independent life.
