Same As U provides a college-like setting for young adults with intellectual disabilities to experience meaningful activities and programming that often stop upon leaving the school system. The organization started with 8 students in January of 2020 and aims to help young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities live the life they imagine. Since its conception, Same As U has grown from 29 students to 45 students and added one additional in-person class day. They have enriched their social skill curriculum, introduced music classes as well as a weekly physical education class.
