The african american honor roll is a program that recognizes students in grades 3-12 who have earned a 3.0 grade point average or higher in the San Francisco unified School district
The scholarship & retirement banquet is a program where african- american graduating high School seniors receive a scholarship & member & non- member retirees of the sf unified School district are recognized.
The hbcu fair is an event where recruiters & admission counselors of historically Black colleges and universities come to meet prospective students, assist seniors with applying and students can gain acceptance and receive merit based scholarships at the event.
PROGRAM #4 The HBCU FAIR IS AN EVENT WHERE RECRUITERS & ADMISSION COUNSELORS OF HISTORICALLY BLACK COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES COME TO MEET PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS, ASSIST SENIORS WITH APPLYING AND STUDENTS CAN GAIN ACCEPTANCE AND RECEIVE MERIT BASED SCHOLARSHIPS AT THE EVENT. PROGRAM #5 THE MLK CONTEST IS AN ART & ORATORICAL CONTEST HELD TO RECOGNIZE SFUSD STUDENTS WHO EXCEL AS ARTISTS AND ORATORS. PROGRAM #6 THE BLACK GRADUATION IS AN EVENT WHERE GRADUATING AFRICAN AMERICAN STUDENTS IN THE SF UUNIFIED SCHOOLS DISTRICT ARE RECOGNIZED.
