With the realization that access to safe sanitation is a fundamental human right and public good and cognizant of the fact that achieving safely managed sanitation for all is a key driver of environmental resilience, public health and economic prosperity, and a prerequisite for success in delivering the united nations sustainable development goal number six (sdg. 6), Sanergy Inc. seeks to address the sanitation challenge in urban informal settlements where most residents lack access to safe sanitation and millions of tons of sanitation waste are left in the open or dumped into rivers and waterways causing environmental, health and economic problems.we work with public authorities such as municipalities and urban residents to develop and scale safe, citywide inclusive and financially sustainable sanitation solutions in fast growing cities. We develop and scale a financially sustainable safe sanitation value chain in the urban slums. Our innovations cover waste containment, emptying, transportation and treatment of toilet waste. We develop our solutions in a collaborative approach that guarantees satisfaction to all stakeholders and unmatched customer experience.currently, we operate in kenya: -nairobi (mathare, mukuru and kibera), kisumu and eldoret and we are in the process of setting up operations in mombasa (kenya) and lusaka (zambia).
