‘The monthly meetings were held at various venues with members and friends. The communication of the monthly event was made through monthly issued newsletters. The events included the musical performances of folk songs and instruments, folk dancing. It had also speakers on the Japanese cultural history and individual wellness and security at the meeting. The events were organized with attendee paid luncheon. The costs were supplies of setting up the rooms and other event related supplies

To provide services for preparation of Annual Obon Festival, a traditional Japanese event, sponsored by the Buddhist association at the Gity Veteran's Building In Santa Maria, California in the month of July. Our services were to teach a few hundred participants how wear summer kimonos for folk dancing, how to do the Japanese folk dancing, and support the booth for various cultural materials display or demo of how to do the Origami, The members participated as volunteers many hours.
