Program areas at Santa Rosa Metro Chamber
The Chamber of Commerce is the business association for Santa Rosa and works collaboratively with other local chambers, nonprofits, and government agencies to effect economic vitality and progress county wide. The program services include networking, marketing, education, public policy advocacy and general business support to the Chamber's members and beyond. Major educational programs include leadership Santa Rosa, mike hauser academy (stem), and our partnership with first five sonoma county promoting family friendly workplace policies and employer supported childcare.
The Chamber of Commerce has been the host of the sonoma county small business development center, aka "sonoma sbdc", providing no-cost one-to-one advising and training to sonoma county businesses to assist in new business starts and aid existing businesses to thrive and grow.
Business improvement area (bia), also known as visit Santa Rosa, represents a service bound by a contractual agreement between the Chamber of Commerce and the city of Santa Rosa to provide tourism marketing with the goal of drawing visitors to Santa Rosa, specifically including overnight stays at local hotels/motels to include group bookings for conventions, weddings, sporting events, etc. As part of the tourism hosting, the Chamber of Commerce runs and manages the California welcome center in Santa Rosa.
