Saratoga Historical Foundation

The mission of the Saratoga Historical Foundation is to preserve the rich history of Saratoga for the education and enjoyment of the community. A day of community fun. Held April 9brought back in 2013 and held until 2020. Skipped 2021 due to COVID. Returned in 2022. May is Heritage Preservation Monthprovided two walking tours of Historic Oak Street. President Annette Stransky gave a presentation at Hakone Gardens on the history of Saratoga. Blacksmith ribbon Cutting June 4, attended by City Council and the public. Had table of SHF information for July 4 Celebration Volunteer Appreciation Party October 28 for our volunteers Participated in Joint event with Los Gatos History Museum and 7 other organizations with crafts and games celebrating diversity day in October Fundraiser Mahjongg and bridge party held as fund raiser and raised $2100
