Program areas at Save Ponte Vedra Beach

During 2018, its first year, the organization was a catalyst for and a significant party in building public awareness of the Beach and dunes erosion of the Ponte Vedra Beach area shore line. The organization documented the issue and the important effects on the public, resulting in decisive early stage plans for Beach restoration. Following the build up of public support st johns county hired a coastal engineering company, dedicated an initial and ongoing long term founding source to restore the Beach. Refurbishment is now expected to begin in 2021.
