Education and outreach: work to educate the general public, special interest groups, and students through a variety of programs and materials designed to provide information on manatees and their habitat.
Conservation: acquisition of data, including sponsoring research upon which to base policies and decisions of the organization and other entities, including various levels of government.
Membership services: provides the committed constituency for the membership base needed by the organization to achieve its Manatee and Manatee habitat protection and preservation objectives.
