Program areas at Schools for Children of the World
SCW's mission is to work in partnership with the private, public, and non-profit sectors at local, national, and international levels to create quality learning environments in developing countries. The focus is on school construction and planning as part of an ongoing focus on improving schools in poor remote rural areas. It includes the repairing and building of new schools in primarily in Honduras but also in other countries such as Hait, Tonga and countries in Africa. The Honduras school projects are primarily in Cortez, Yoro, Santa Barbara and Comayagua.
