Program areas at Schreiner University
Instructional programs:schreiner University offers certificate programs in vocation nursing and education as well as undergraduate degrees in liberal arts, sciences and mathematics, and professional studies. The University also has graduate programs for a master of education degree and a master of business administration.
Student services:student services provide services to students with the primary purpose of contributing to students' emotional and physical well-being and intellectual, cultural, and social development outside the context of the formal instruction program. It includes expenses for student activities, cultural events, intramural athletics, student organizations, intercollegiate athletics, counseling and career guidance, student aid administration, and student health service. In addition, this year, students recevied emergency grants from the federal government as a result of the covid-19 pandemic.
Auxiliary enterprises:an auxiliary enterprise provides goods or services to students, faculty, staff, other institutional departments, or incidentally to the general public, and charges a fee directly related to, although not necessarily equal to, the cost of the goods or services. Examples are residence halls, food services, and bookstore.
Other programs include academic support (library, tutor center, academic support services, learning support services) as well as some institutional support functions.
