Scotland County Hospital Foundation

Scotland County Hospital Foundation continued a fundraiser from fiscal year 2021. This fundraiser was the development and sales of a 50th anniversary cookbook to commemorate the 50th year of Scotland County Hospital. The proceeds from the sale of the cookbook will go towards developing and preserving the healthcare service lines that Scotland County Hospital offers to its residents. Rural healthcare is a constant battle between the healthcare needs in the community and the resources the healthcare organization has to support those needs. This fundraiser will provide an opportunity to either develop a needed service for the community or to maintain services that the Hospital provides.

The third funding opportunity arose due to the Foundation surrounds the employers in the area rallying around the Hospital and encouraging their employees to utilize the Hospital and rhc's.

The second funding opportunity arose due to the contuned support of the Hospital in looking for ways to provide community involvement and access to the community.
