Program areas at Seasons Hospice Foundation

General programs - to bring comfort and support to Hospice patients and their families through programs and initiatives that are not covered by the traditional Hospice benefit. These special programs are designed to improve the quality of life at the end of life and to support families through their bereavement process.
Camp kangaroo - camp kangaroo is a bereavement camp free for children ages 5-18 who have lost a loved one. This therapeutic-arts based camp is specifically designed to support campers through the tasks of mourning. Professional clinical staff facilitate and teach campers positive coping skills through therapeutic arts and activities. Parents and guardians join on the last day of camp and are given the tools to continue to guide their children through the grief journey.
Milton ipc - the Hospice inpatient unit in milton, mass. Provides a caring environment where patients can get help for their symptoms and where loved ones may spend hours or days with the patient providing the warmth and comfort in a home-like environment. We also host a children's grief library and adult bereavement library here. The unit is also used to host fundraising and stewardship events.
Final wish fulfillment - our wish program provides support to Hospice patients to assist them with peaceful life closure. Wishes can include assistance with critical needs (food, rent, utility bills), life enrichment assistance (transportation or assistive devices) and more complex wishes such as family vacations or flights home to see a loved one for the last time.
