Program areas at Seattle Architecture Foundation
Tours: SAF offered 63 tours during 2023 with 648 people attending. SAF tours build appreciation for the built environment and share Seattle's rich cultural history.
b. Exhibits and Public Programs: SAF offers a yearly exhibit and public programming, which includes lectures, panel discussions, and other talks about architecture. Our goal is to offer a range of educational programs to help people understand how they can get involved in shaping the future of their city. In 2023, we held our 26th Annual Model Exhibit and offered programming that reached an audience of over 200. An additional number of visitors experienced the exhibit virtually as SAF also began presenting the exhibit through an online site that hosted both static graphic and video content.
Youth & Family Programs: More than 480 youth participated in our weekend workshops, multisession after-school programming, school, and community programs, and summer enrichment. We introduce youth from all backgrounds to the field of architecture and design. Full, no-questions-asked scholarships are available for all youth and family weekend workshops.
