SSB's program focuses on educating and supporting boys during their middle school years, grades 6 - 8. During the academic year, SSB provided an innovative educational program that was specifically developed to educate, support and inspire adolescents who identify or have been socialized as boys. In the classroom, SSB's unique approach truly engaged students in their learning, encouraged a deeper understanding of material through experiential projects, and supported sharing multiple perspectives that come from an equitably accessible program. Project- and place-based learning, with real-world enrichment, is key to SSB's curriculum, and physical movement supports learning throughout the school day. SSB is accessible to a diverse population of students, and weaves core values of equity and justice into its curriculum and institutional fabric.
