Description
Seattle Tennis and Education Foundation inspires under-resourced kids to be active in mind and body so they gain the confidence and skills to achieve their dreams. Stef's program focuses on teaching the essential skills needed for tennis, such as fitness, strokes, scoring and strategy, but with a strong emphasis on fun and play. Our mentors from the community engage Stef students in themed learning units to further enhance their growth.

Program areas at Seattle Tennis and Education

Stef's program focuses on the essential skills needed to enjoy Tennis, including fitness, strokes, scoring and strategy, with an emphasis on fun and play. In addition, our role-model mentors from the community engage stef students in themed learning units such as acting, creative writing, music, and dance.our Tennis play and educational after-school program begins october 30. Sessions take place 3 days each week (wednesday, thursday and friday) for 2 hours at mercy magnuson place in magnuson park for elementary school youth in grades 3-5. Each day will feature Tennis or physical activity/guided play as well as unique program modules designed to awaken curiosity, self-esteem and to deepen learning.
