Second Chance Support Network Ministries assists newly released state and county prisoners to assimilate back into the community at large by helping men and women through Christ centered mentoring. In 2021, it served 52 returning citizens with 42 trained mentors, resulting in 3458 hours of one on one meeting time. As a result, its recidivism rate was reduced to 27%, compared to the usual 80% returning to jail or prison within the first year.
