Program areas at Second Wind Fund

Second Wind Fund works with Colorado youth ages 19 and under who are at risk for suicide and facing one or more financial or social barriers to accessing treatment, connecting them with licensed, specialized providers and covering the costs for 12 - 20 sessions of therapy when financial barriers are present. Second Wind Fund also provides navigation assistance for youth and families who are able to pay for care. The program prioritizes expedited access to treatment for all youth, with referrals processed within 48 business hours and providers agreeing to see youth within one week of being connected.
