Description
Secure Families Initiative mobilizes military partners, family members and veterans to vote and advocate for their communities through education on issues of foreign policy and national security. We produced a video commemorating 9/11 that told stories of active-duty military families to educate civilians on the hidden costs of war. Additionally, we held a civic engagement bootcamp for military spouses to learn the rules.

We testified before congress concerning the impact of domestic violent extremism on military Families. We organized volunteers to meet with members of congress about legislation that would reform war authorizations. We mobilized a donation drive for afghan refugees in northern Virginia
