Program areas at Seek and Save
Comfort: providing relief to under-resourced and under-served young and families with children and/or youth. The comfort program includes paying for urgent and/or critical expenses, such as rent, utilities, food, clothing, health & hygiene, household goods, transportation. The young and their family members served by this program was approximately 120.
Edify: edification: investing in the spiritual, emotional, educational, physical, and vocational progress of the under-resourced and under-served, primarily the young, to contribute to their success in life. Program expenses include workshops, tuition, school supplies, mental health counseling for child abuse victims, art and sports support, health and fitness costs, and career assistance. The young and their family members served by this program was approximately 50.
Encourage: encouraging the under-resourced and under-served, primarily the young, through meals, outings, and experiences that are rare on non-existent for the impoverished, vulnerable, and/or victimized young, including birthday and graduation celebrations, sports events, bowling, movies, fishing, swimming. The young served by this program was approximately 60.
