Program areas at Seneca Park Zoo

Education and programming conservation action- education programs reached 9,745 children and teens through 576 programs at the Zoo. Programming & conservation action had programs in the Zoo reaching 6,900 guests with the nature cart. Twelve city youth logged 1,700 hours in our urban ecology program and 611 volunteers contributed more than 1,800 hours for community clean-ups. The zoomobile delivered 300 offsite programs in 2023, and the butterfly beltway planted more than 7 acres of native plant life to promote monarch butterfly habitat.
Member services provide fun and engaging guest experiences while visiting the Zoo. In 2023, 13,527 member households enjoyed admission to the Zoo. Guests and members helped raise more than $27,000 for education and conservation programs as well as in situ conservation efforts such as snow leopards, elephants, red pandas, polar bears and 12 others.
