Senior Citizens of Kodiak enhances the lives of older adults by providing a national caregiver support program that offers information, resources and training to make caring for elderly loved ones easier. Program areas at Senior Citizens of Kodiak

Senior services - provides support services to those people 60 and over on Kodiak island. During the fiscal year, 158 clients received support.
Adult day care - provides a safe and structured day program to people with alzheimer's disease and other dementia, those recovering from a stroke or who need socialization. During the fiscal year, 22 clients participated in the program.
Kodiak area transit system - provides coordinated trasportation service for seniors, disabled individuals, and Alaska mental health trust beneficiaries. During the fiscal year, 7,653 unassisted rides and 967 assisted rides were provided to clients.
National caregiver support program - provides support and respite to caregivers by assisting with information, resources and training to making caring for elderly loved ones easier. During the fiscal year, 514 access assistance clients servied, 133 caregivers received training, and 88 caregivers received counseling.
