Humanitarian world view: spva staff and students use their pre-veterinary, animal science and marine biology skills, along with their business leadership, to train and inspire underprivileged young people in both the u.s. and central america. Hundreds of orphaned children have been impacted by these programs annually and many have gone on to aspire to heights they never seen even imagined. Through the honduras horsemanship mission project, children, teens, and young adults have learned the principals needed to embrace lifes trials, tragedies and and circumstances with a bold, positive attitude. This has led to success in school, international leadership programs, international translation positions for medical teams, small business entrepreneurial and agricultural business management positions. Through business training, development, support and long-term relations through these humanitarian projects, those less privileged have grown to break the chains of poverty within their families and communities.
