Program areas at Service Foundation Corporation
During the year 2022, we received food donations which volunteers organize in food bags to be delivered to registered families in need (Approximately 200 bags weekly). We also help families with housing and utilities bill payments, and sent aid to Venezuela for medical treatment and food.
WICHITA WALKERS, a program for migrant families who were arriving in Miami from Texas and were homeless, was funded to send them to Wichita, where SVC paid for the first few days of room and board, and the Emmaus Brothers oriented them and found them jobs to stabilize them. A total of 15 families were sent.
