Project Education - Made grants to support 648 students from impoverished backgrounds studying in Mahakavi Bharathiyar Higher Secondary School in Tamil Nadu, India and set up education endowments to provide sustained support for Sevalaya USAs Project Education. In June 2024, all the Std. XII students in the school had a pass rate of 99.2%. In Std. X, the school had a 97% pass rate.Awarded grants to support sports training for students, which included buying sports equipment and helping students participate in tournamentsAwarded grants to support art education for students.
Project Mental Health Clinic - Made grants to Mahatma Gandhi Medical Centre to provide mental health services to the students of Mahakavi Bharathiyar Higher Secondary School and to rural women who are farmers and caregivers. Rural women face challenges including gender discrimination, poverty, and poor physical health. Besides these, they are also exposed to domestic violence, which is one of the main risk factors for common mental disorders in rural women. This project offers individual sessions and group sessions for patients. Every month, an average of 300 people benefit from this clinic.
Project Human Services and infrastructure Grants:Sponsored food and clothes to the residents of the senior homes and the orphanages in Kasuva campus to celebrate Diwali.Made a grant towards repairing the roof in the Kasuva campus. Made a grant to set up an RO water plant in a senior home for 30 homeless seniors in Zamin Endathur, a rural area in Tamil Nadu.
