Holding over 60 community meetings with an average of 15 people attending each meeting, focused on neighborhood development issues (such as variances and licensing, infrastructure, neighborhood safety concerns, residents and business relationships), equity and diversity issues (working with renters, support of traditionally under-served residents), and other concerns that arise in Seward neighborhood. SNG works on community building initiatives, public safety and crime prevention, equitable engagement, environmental stewardship, and other issues. Programs include spring garage sales days, garden tour, the activities of the Community Development, and History Committees, and a neighborhood electronic newsletter.
