Program areas at Sexual Assault and Family Violence
Advocacy - provide hospital response and other medical advocacy, transportation,daycare, clothing, food, group counseling. Language services, personal advocacy, court advocacy, referrals to other social service programs, and collaboration with other community entities that can offer help to these victims.
Public education - provide age appropriate training about domestic Violence, dating Violence, stalking and Sexual Assault to all schools in uinta county. Information and support are also given to different types of community meetings talking about how the programs offered to help victims.
Crisis intervention - provide 24 hour and seven days a week safe shelter and crisis line to all victims of domestic Violence, dating Violence, stalking and Sexual Assault. This program also provides clothing, food, and shelter to these victims, court accompaniment to any court cases, and in some cases applying for help from an attorney.
