Climate Change Curriculum & Sustainability Challenge/Climate Clinics - We crafted then piloted our ten-week Climate Change Curriculum at John F. Kennedy High School with their incoming 9th grade Leadership Training Institute cohort, which culminated with a modified Sustainability Challenge workshop as a final capstone. SGAP Leaders coached students from the Leadership Training Institute at Kennedy High School to present at the Montgomery County Public Schools' Climate Summit. Our interns often lead their own project teams. Past interns have teamed with our partners with Rotary to launch a monarch butterfly garden at local middle school. 1,044 middle and high school students actively participated in our youth-led projects: Encouragement, Gifts for Seniors, Care Cards for Healthcare workers, Park Clean-Up, 911, MLK Day of Service, May Day Bouquet, Brian's Story short film...
