Program areas at Shape NW
Outdoor adventure camp - we taught kids outdoor adventures and important information regarding the pacific northwest. Skills taught included Leave no trace, water, kayaking, hiking, safety, first aid, outdoor shelters among other curricular items. Covid impacted the number of kids who could participate this summer
The Tanzania trip taught students how to interact with other kids from a different culture and socioeconomic background. They interacted with kids, taught them sports skills, helped build wells.
Sports Camp - our missions is to teach kids how to have fun being active. We teach a variety of traditional sports and life sports in a non-competitive environment. We also teach nutrition, cooking for kids and science.
