Program areas at Shared Services Leadership Coalition

Legislative advocacy - legislative advocacy ramped up in 2023 with the hiring of a new government affairs consultant. Relationships were renewed with the staffs of the house oversight and accountability committee and the senate homeland security and governmental affairs committee for the purpose of educating the staffs about Shared Services and exploring potential interest in legislation to advance implementation.
Education and technical assistance: convened twelve monthly "Shared Services forums and twelve "working forward forums" in partnership with the national academy of public administration (napa) and the senior executives association (sea) addressing topics related to Shared Services, the future of work and human capital management modernization. Initiated a new executive education program in collaboration with the trachtenberg school of public policy and public administration at george Washington university.
Executive branch advocacy: meetings with policy officials responsible for government-wide Shared Services implementation continued in 2023 at previous year's levels for the purpose of encouraging more assertive actions to implement Shared Services.
