The SHE RECOVERS Foundation inspires hope, reduces stigma, and empowers women who are in or seeking recovery for behavioral health issues and other life challenges to increase their recovery capital. The foundation is run by Dawn Nickel PHD and is located in Santa Fe, NM. Its mission is to help women heal themselves and help other women do the same.

She Recovers Foundation (srf) is a growing and evolving community currently serving more than 325,000 women in or seeking recovery from substance use disorders, other behavioral health issues, and/or life challenges. This lifeline organization connects women through its virtual platforms and in-person community networks, provides resources and supports women to develop their own holistic recovery patchworks, and empowers them to thrive and share their success. All efforts are designed to end the stigma and shame often associated with recovery so that more women may heal and grow. (see schedule o for 2022 accomplishments.)
