Program areas at She's Somebody's Daughter
We provide training about human trafficking within the community, including law enforcement agencies, college classes, churches, youth homes, non-profits, school staff, recovery facilities and civic organizations. We also share information online, through bilboards and printed materials.
Staff provide support and therapeutic activities for survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking. This includes emotion support, support groups, connections to resource partners and financial support.
Staff and volunteers visit locations where individuals are vulnerable to or experience sexual exploitation and trafficking in-order-to make connections and offer support. Outreach teams take gifts, food and basic necessities to hand out as-well-as printed information about the services we provide. Our staff also use software to send texts to those who are being advertised online within sexual exploitation to let them know we are here to help.
