Shorewood HUGS is an organization that provides aid to children, families, individuals and programs in our community and the surrounding communities. When tragedy, illness, hard times or disability strikes, HUGS steps in to help through their Hugs and Wishes program. For the fiscal year 2022-2023 they granted approximately 70 wishes that were sponsored through their many fundraisers throughout the year, the largest being their annual Choc. Additionally, HUGS-'Helping You Get Started' is designed to help anyone in the community within a 20 mile radius who is in need.
