The film and audiovisual sector in ethiopia remains historically and structurally underfunded, underdeveloped and undervalued. This program will make tangible contributions to film industry with capacity building through unique practical training opportunities, and to create and promote a commercial sustaniable model to local and international cinemas. This program will provide funding for kidist yilma's film, "1980", and to acquire film equipment for director kivu ruhorahoza.
Grant for the ethiopian women lawyers' association for their work enhancing the rule of law to develop gender equality. This program is to assist women, particularly under privileged women, who are survivors of gender based violence. The services include legal advice/counseling, reconciliation/mediation, court represention and other related services.
