Silver Stallion Bikes operates a mobile repairshop providing free bike service and repairs in remote communities. In partnership with local community leadership, the Silver Stallion Mobile Ride Center supports rural bicycle ridership through educational and service repair events. This program supports increased ridership, camaraderie, trail development, general health and well-being of the Navajo Nation.
NICA TEAMS - DIN COMP AND GALLUP COMPIn 2018 Silver Stallion founded the Gallup and Dine Composite NICA Teams to provide structured coached practices and race opportunities for youth to advance in the mountain bike racing community. Both teams participate in the New Mexico NICA League Fall Race Season each year. Silver Stallion supports the NICA program mission of building strong minds, bodies, characters, and communities through cycling.
DEVO/CLUB RidesSilver Stallion Bikes has begun the DEVO/CLUB Ride programs serving 100+ participants in the Gallup McKinley County Schools district. Rides are provided to students once a week for a 10 week period each semester, led by professionally trained coaches and school volunteers.
